We designed the Atherton Farmhouse to accommodate the most luxurious and comfortable of lifestyles. We built the house to meet LEED platinum certification standards, using only the highest-quality sustainable materials and employing high-performance building practices.

Why LEED Platinum?

At Clarum, we’re leading the way in building beautiful, high-performance custom homes that minimize the use of resources, greatly reduce harmful effects on the environment, and create healthier and more comfortable living spaces.

Clarum Homes is a proud participant in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) building program – an internationally recognized third-party rating system for green building design. And the Atherton Farmhouse project was no exception.

In order to qualify for LEED Platinum certification for sustainable design and construction, the Atherton Farmhouse will be evaluated for environmental performance from a whole building perspective over its life cycle.

Platinum certification is the highest standard held by LEED for sustainability in home building and design – and we built the Atherton Farmhouse to meet the most rigorous LEED standards for what constitutes a “green building.”
